You can earn "Experience Points" for doing all sorts of things in the community, which earn you community status, and which can be exchanged for real-world rewards
As the system develops this page will show all the points you can earn and the rewards available. Right now, you get points every time you log in, message someone, make a friend, make or comment on a post, like someone's post or profile, refer a friend, view a page, and all sorts of other things.
You can see your points balance and what you gained points for at your Profile page,
and in the My Points Balance box in the left-hand side panel.
VIP icons: as your status in the community rises, you will start to have a VIP icon next to your name signifying your status or role in the community.
